![]() ![]() During one show in June, Mainstage froze, then crashed and would NOT recover until I was able to trash Mainstage preferences, but this was an exception. I have had this problem since using Mainstage 3.0.4 (which was when I also moved to 32Lives to use my 32 bit plugs). The above items have occurred prior to my upgrade to 32Lives 1.0.8 (prior version I believe was 1.0.5 or 1.0.6), but they are occurring more frequently under the new version. During a live show this past Friday the system crashed twice requiring a restart of Mainstage, but not a restart of the computer. Subsequent changing of rotor speed seams to work normally with only an occasional CPU spike after that.ĬPU spikes will occasionally occur when switching to a Mainstage patch that has either VB3 or Miroslav Philharmonik (or both) in that patch. Once I activate VB3 and change the rotor speed the first time, the system will spike hard and I will get 1-2 seconds of audio drop-out. I notice the spikes during the following conditions.Īfter initial startup of Mainstage, there will be 2 or 3 high CPU spikes, then the system will settle down. ![]() Mac Mini i7 2.3 MHz, 16 Gigs Ram, OSX 10.10.5īheringer XR18AIR (works as audio interface for Mac Mini) The upgrade has made this situation worse. I've updated to the latest version of 32lives that would hopefully solve a continuing problem with hard CPU spikes and occasional crashing. I'm bringing this up here to see if anyone else has some suggestions or ways I might be able to trouble shoot or at least make my system a little more manageable: I've sent the following message to Sound Radix to help solve a problem that at least points to 32Lives and the 32 bit plugs running in my system.
